As the weekend is approaching here’s a quote that should keep you focus.
“Children have never been very good at listening to their elders, but they have never failed to imitate them.” – James Baldwin
James Baldwin nailed it with this quote. We waste a lot of energy telling our kids not to do this or that, but our actions speak louder than words.
When we say one thing, but do something else, our words will seem to go in one ear and out the other.
Your kids will follow your lead, so it’s important to show the right virtues.
Your actions will always have more impact than your words, so it’s your actions that need more of your attention.
This weekend, be more mindful of your actions. Be more intentional with what you are doing. If not for yourself, for your kids, or the kids that are around you.
You can be the main reason why they become the person they are. Make sure to make that person someone who will influence the next generation. And this can go on and on, you can be the catalyst.
Have a great and blessed weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday.
