Everyone has strived to change their health habits for the best. This could be through choosing healthier options at the grocery store or making it to the gym a few times a week.

These are all great aspirations but why do we fall short?

The problem is we tend to try and do everything all at once. Habits don’t work that way, so we need to gradually get to our set goal.

We need to make mini changes, so that way, it doesn’t attack our current identity. When you try to change too much all at once, your body goes into defensive mode.

The alarm bells won’t go off, if you say, replace one bad food for a healthy choice. The same for the gym, try doing 20 minutes before going for a hour.

Healthy habits will come for you, just don’t try to rush them. Remember, it’s a step by step process and the more you take it slow, the greater the chances of it sticking.
