We all use it, from the moment we wake up until the time we get back to bed. That energy we use to carry us through the day is a limit resource. Sometimes we use it in the wrong way, not leaving any for the things that matter. Here are a few things you can do to preserve your energy:
Limit Your Clothes Selection- This doesn’t mean to wear the same clothes everyday, but not go through a whole wardrobe when selecting something to wear. When we have too many choices it can drain your energy. Having to not think about what to wear is an energy saver.
Keep Things In A Certain Spot- For example, your car keys, if you ever had to search for your keys before getting out the house then you know what I’m talking about. If you keep your stuff in specific spots, you won’t have to even think about it. This will save you a ton of mental energy.
Keep Your Home Clean And Organize- Nothing can zap your energy more than coming to a dirty home. Clean as you go is a great technique to use. This way your home stays clean and organize for the day. A uncluttered home will lead to an uncluttered mind, and an abundance of energy to use.
Delegate When Possible- Doing everything yourself can be very energy draining. This is when you can find things in your life you can delegate to others. Taking away certain responsibilities off your plate can help with leaving some energy for more important tasks.
Create A Schedule- It takes a lot of energy to try and remember everything you have to do for the day. Instead of struggling in this way, you can create a schedule for yourself with a checklist. You can simply check things off when you complete them, and move on to the next.
Energy is our life force that keeps us striving. Learning how to use it to our advantage is important. Why use it on useless task, when we can save for the big ones. Using your energy in the right way will put you ahead of the game.
