We live in a society that wants everything now. They want results after just a week of exercising, they want to be in the perfect relationship after just a month of dating, but life doesn’t work like that.
Some things take time, it takes daily commitment and patience. It takes doing the work when you’re not motivated. This is called delayed gratification.
It’s the delayed part that makes people quit during the process. They want the gratification but not willing to make the sacrifices necessary, but you can be different.
I know this first hand, it took me over 14 years to get my black belt in Jiu Jitsu. And in that process I never looked to quit, I only looked to get better.
Your Goal This Week: You may not be getting the results as fast as you thought, but you must trust the process. Keep working towards those goals you set for yourself. It’s only a matter of time that you will achieve them. Stay focused and keep pushing forward.
That’s it for Monday Motion, remember you don’t need motivation, you just need to keep moving forward. Let’s go out and tackle the week ahead.
